2016 Hammond Lecturer: Dr. Ken Foote

On April 21-22, The department invited Dr. Ken Foote, Professor and Head, Department of Geography, University of Connecticut, as the Speaker of the 2016 Hammond Lecture Series. Dr. Foote gave the Hammond lecture at Hodges Library Auditorium on April 22 from 3:40 to 5:00 pm. The title of the lecture is “On the edge of memory: Uneasy legacies of dissent, terror and violence in the American Landscape” in the Hodges Library Auditorium. Dr. Foote also engaged with ORNL, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students during his visit.
