Dr. Horn visits Appalachian State University

Professor Sally Horn visited Appalachian State University last week to present a talk on Lake Sediments and Ecosystem History in Costa Rica to students and faculty in the Department of Geography and Planning.   She was pleased to catch up with three recent department alumni who are on the faculty: Dr. Mark Spond (Ph.D. 2011), Liaison to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Research Assistant Professor (on the left), and Assistant Professors Saskia van de Gevel  (PhD 2008) and Derek Martin (PhD 2014) (on either side of Sally).
