Dr. Kelsey Scheitlin joins the Department

Department welcomes Dr. Kelsey Scheitlin as new faculty member. Dr. Kelsey Scheitlin is a physical geographer specializing in climatology and meteorology. Her research focuses on the spatial and temporal variability of atmospheric hazards, primarily tropical cyclones. She is also interested in land surface-atmosphere interaction and severe weather. She will teach the introductory physical geography courses and additional courses in climatology and meteorology.
