Congratulations to Erik Schmidt who is the winner of the SASSG Student Poster Competition (SASSG: Study of the American South Specialty Group of the AAG). Erik is one of our best undergrads at UT. Indeed, because of his GPA and his research, Erik was recognized at graduation today as one of the top majors in Geography and the entire College of Arts & Sciences. Gratefully, he is staying in Knoxville to do his MS degree in Geography. We are proud of you, Erik.
