Zane Frentress’s research asks “how can we live in ‘unlivable’ places?” in the context of changing waters and the climate crisis. Frentress’s work is based in Colombia, and is informed more generally by connections between peoples and waterways in the Atlantic world. Frentress engages with feminist and queer research methods and turn to amphibious ways of living as forms of resistance and knowledge.
