Wyatt Miner

Sustainability Outreach Coordinator, UT Office of Sustainability

Wyatt is a recent graduate of the Geography and Sustainability program who made a lasting impact during his time at UT. From the moment he joined the Office of Sustainability as a student, Wyatt took every opportunity to lead meaningful change—both on campus and in the broader community.

Now a full-time member of the Office of Sustainability, Wyatt has continued that momentum. He played a key role in refining recycling operations at Neyland Stadium, helping achieve the highest diversion rate in over a decade – 56%. He also helped establish the office’s first-ever full-time outreach role, which he now holds, focusing on student empowerment, public engagement, and reducing plastic use across campus.

Following graduation, Wyatt has taken time to travel, recharge, and enjoy life with close friends and his dog, Apollo. He’s also considering graduate school in the future, though he’s still exploring what path to take next.
