PhD Student | Human Geography
I am a Peruvian social scientist with about fifteen years of experience in research and fieldwork. I graduated from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) with a BA in 2008 and a Licentiate degree in 2016 in Archaeology. In 2019, I completed my MA in Anthropology at Vanderbilt University. I study different human groups/communities through their material culture and their use of space through time. Now, as a Geography and Sustainability graduate student at UT, my work will be focused on how infrastructure conditions a differential access to resources in prejudice of local communities in Lurin valley (Lima-Peru) and the way they face such imbalance.
