PhD Student | Physical Geography

I am a PhD student working with Dr. Karen King in the Tree-Ring Lab, where my research sits at the intersection of dendrochronology, ecology, and climate science. Broadly, I am interested in how trees record and reflect environmental change, and I enjoy exploring the many stories they can tell us through their growth rings. My current projects include evaluating the impacts of the invasive Hemlock Woolly Adelgid on Eastern Hemlock in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and contributing to the North American Temperature Atlas. While much of my work focuses on ecological and climate applications, my interests span the full breadth of dendrochronology, and I am always excited to engage with new questions about how tree rings can deepen our understanding of the natural world.
