Len Brinkman

Professor Emeritus | Human Geography

Len Brinkman is a historical geographer whose interests lie in economic and demographic change in Appalachia. His teaching reflects these interests, as well as a more general interest in economic geography and the development of the North American regional landscape. Brinkman is responsible for the rigorous historical perspective that so many of the department’s students have brought to their research.
