I am a second-year PhD student, working with Dr. Madhuri Sharma. As a human geographer, my research interest lies in gender-based migration of labor from South Asia into the developed parts of the world. I wish to explore how the nature and patterns of female labor migration are changing and its social, cultural, and economic impacts on the sending and receiving countries.
