I am currently working to better understand how, and at what scale, urban environments influence the distribution and acoustic communication of birds. I also work as a consulting engineer, where I build geospatial solutions to enable data-driven decisions at the intersection of engineering and geography. I enjoy living near Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness, where you can often find me hiking and biking with my wife and daughter. Every December, I return to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania to help run the family Christmas tree farm.
