Heather Maxwell

MS Student | Physical Geography

I’m Heather, and I am a physical geography master’s student with an interest in past vegetation history in the Eastern Deciduous Forest in North America. I use lake sediments to observe environmental change over time, human interactions with the landscape, and fire history. Using what I find, I plan to help land managers enact the proper conservation techniques based on the environmental history in the area.
