After a lovely three years in UTK Geography and Sustainability, Jake graduated in Spring 2024 with a B.A. in Geography and a concentration in Global Cities and Economies. After graduating, Jake had an internship with East Tennessee Development District working on their annual Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and since September has been working full time as an Assistant Planner with Knoxville – Knox County Planning. He lives in the Emory Place neighborhood with his two close friends, and loves working downtown and attending community meetings and events like City Council, Tree Board, Food Policy Council, and more! Jake is interested in continuing his education at the graduate level, but has very much enjoyed transitioning to the working world and settling into a new mode of life in Knoxville!
