PhD Student | Human Geography
My research interests lie at the intersection between urban geography, economic geography, and comparative urbanism. More specifically I am interested in the rise and fall of cities, global cities, the formation of city-systems, and how a city’s position within the urban hierarchy affects their particular outcomes. My current research agenda deals with these topics within the context of the Southeastern United States. In my free time I enjoy hiking, traveling, practicing Spanish, playing basketball, watching sports, and spending time with my family.
