MS Student | Human Geography
I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a BA double majoring in Global Studies and Geography. I consider myself a qualitative geographer, with interests across a wide array of issues. I’ve done projects on immigration, housing, displacement, and small businesses in COVID; I’ve also interned for ESRI, Child Care Aware of America, and the American Association of Geographers. I’m currently interested in/working on exploring perceptions of race in China, and how language hegemony and the East/West dichotomy occur in the field of TEFL; informal transportation in Lima, Peru; sustainable tourism in Guatemala; and housing and gentrification in Denver.
