Tracey Norrell

Teaching Full Professor | Human Geography

Tracey Hayes Norrell is a native of Texas, and the holder of MS (Geography) and MA (European History) from Texas A&M University. I received the Ph.D. in European History 2010 from the University of Tennessee. I have studied at the Goethe Institute in Bonn, the University of Munich, and at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where I was a Fulbright Fellow in 2008-9. I also received fellowships from the United States Holocaust Museum and the Holocaust Education Foundation. Norrell taught at the University of Tuebingen in 2011 and at Alabama A&M University from 2011 to 2013. I just recently published her book, For the Honor of the Fatherland: German Jews on the Eastern Front During the Great War (Lexington Books).
