Veronica Carter

Transportation Planner, Fairpointe Planning

Say hello to our March Alumni of the Month, Veronica! Veronica A. Carter graduated with her BA in Geography – Geospatial Science and Technology in 2020. She first worked at the Tennessee Department of Transportation as a GIS Analyst and became interested in transportation planning. She now works for a small transportation management firm called Fairpointe Planning in Nashville. Here she works on transit projects, corridor studies, transportation planning and policy documents, as well as leading public and stakeholder engagement tasks. Veronica is also involved in the Tennessee American Planning Association (TAPA) and is a board member for Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT)!

PS: Her firm is looking for someone interested in communications/public engagement opportunities as well as a summer intern, reach out to her if you’re interested!
